Where Entrepreneurship and Community Flourish Hand in Hand

Our Story

Recovering Clay began not as a business, but as a way to process, reflect, and rebuild.

Founded by Briggette Slivinski, Recovering Clay has grown into a vibrant pottery community in Alamance County, NC.

For over 17 years, it has nurtured creativity and connection through classes, events, mentorship, and shared studio practice.

We’re rooted in the belief that ceramics can be a tool for healing and expression—and that when we gather in the studio, we build more than just pots. We build each other up.
